What women have today is better than being a women back then. Women have more oportunities but, they still don't have equal rights as men and that is why we celerbrate international women's day. What it means to be a women today is being able to have rights such as, vote, work, drive, etc. Not just stay home and take care of the kids, cook, clean. But it means you can do what ever you want and if there's something you want to change, change it ! there's nothing you can't do.
When I think about the women in my life I think about my mom. My mom is great she really cares about me and helps me and I really appreciate that. Sometimes
my mom says Canada is better then her home country, Sudan because women were not allowed to do the same like men. My mom says when she was a little
girl in school girls were not allowed to play basketball or soccer unlike the boys.
When I read the article on a women driving a cab in cairo it is a little strange that you don't see much taxi driver's that are women. Maybe women don't want to be taxi drivers who knows ?.
